Removing Eye-Makeup the Safe & Voluptuous Way

LADIES! REMOVE YOUR MASCARA AT NIGHT!

I’ll admit it, I’ve been caught wearing last night’s makeup the next morning once or twice in my life. My guardian-angel-like friends would attempt to shame me by telling me how bad it was, but please, I’ll be fine

And then I learned that leaving mascara on overnight can cause your lashes to actually fall off! WHAT! Okay, now I’m really going to do something about this. Even worse if the mascara dries enough hard lashes can even scratch your cornea. If you’re fast asleep, you would have no idea. Great, just what I need.

So, then I discovered the magic that is coconut oil. Not only is coconut oil all-natural but it even conditions your lashes and promotes lash growth

It’s important to pay attention and provide extra care when you are removing your eye makeup because the skin around and especially under your eyes is thinner which means it should be treated delicately. Due to coconut oil’s moisturizing properties you know you’re in good hands because drying out the skin around your eyes can cause signs of premature aging.

After washing my hands, what I do is I simply rub some coconut oil between my thumb and index finger and apply it gently to my lashes. Once they are lathered, I take a cotton ball and wipe my lashes starting from the inner corner of my eye outward. Avoid running the cotton ball back and forth over your lash line as it can irritate your skin and pull your lashes. Once you’re finished, cleanse your face, put your serums/cream on, and your good-to-go!
